  "Description": "Metapackage for implementing a variety of event-based\nmodels, with a focus on spatially explicit models. These\ninclude raster-based, event-based, and agent-based models. The\ncore simulation components (provided by 'SpaDES.core') are\nbuilt upon a discrete event simulation (DES; see Matloff (2011)\nch 7.8.3 <https://nostarch.com/artofr.htm>) framework that\nfacilitates modularity, and easily enables the user to include\nadditional functionality by running user-built simulation\nmodules (see also 'SpaDES.tools'). Included are numerous tools\nto visualize rasters and other maps (via 'quickPlot'), and\ncaching methods for reproducible simulations (via\n'reproducible'). Tools for running simulation experiments are\nprovided by 'SpaDES.experiment'. Additional functionality is\nprovided by the 'SpaDES.addins' and 'SpaDES.shiny' packages.",
